Madeline Byrne is an emerging writer based in Brisbane (Magandjin), Australia. She writes fiction for adult and middle-grade readers across genres, from historical fiction to fantasy, spec fic and fairytales. Her work has been published in Overland, Seaside Gothic and Aurealis Magazine, among others.
Outside of writing, Madeline is a graphic designer, Fine Arts graduate and former bookseller who now works in the marketing team for a small, award-winning publisher. She lives in a leafy cottage, surrounded by books, with her husband and their British Shorthair, Obi.
